FAQ for Potential Towing Agents

What information will we need in order to join the Kars4Kids towing program?

If you are a salvage yard, we will need a list of zip codes and areas that you service and the amount that you will be willing to purchase the vehicles for.

What documentation will we need to provide?

In order to be eligible for the Kars4Kids agent program you must provide a valid business license and proof of liability insurance for your company. In Illinois, Kars4Kids requires proof that you are registered as a professional fundraiser with the Attorney General of Illinois.

Once enrolled as a Kars4Kids agent, how will we be notified about pending pickups?

Kars4Kids will email you pickup forms with the car donation and the donor information. You are expected to contact the donors as soon as you receive the pickup form to schedule a mutually agreeable time for pickup.

How are we expected to pay for the vehicles we purchase from Kars4Kids?

Kars4Kids agents are expected to prepay for the vehicles they receive via credit card or check. The check will need to clear before we can apply credit to your account.
